Bedeque Area Historical Museum

The Museum is housed in the old Callbecks store, one of the last of the country stores, which served the general area from 1899 to 1991. Spread over two floors, it displays many items relating to the social and cultural history of the general area, with exhibits on the Acadian and Loyalist settlements of the area, on the culture of the Mi’kmaq, on Callbecks Store, on the Borden ferry service, and on other topics. A new display this summer is a recently donated comprehensive collection of 140 clocks spanning the period from 1770 to 1950.

Seasonal: June 20-Sept 3
Tues-Sat 10am-5pm, Sun 1pm-5pm, Closed Mon.
Admission: $5 Adults, $4 Seniors & Students. Children 12 & under free (includes entry to Lucy Maud Montgomery Lower Bedeque School).
