Province House National Historic Site is currently closed for conservation work. Designated as a national historic site for its role in the 1864 Charlottetown Conference, neoclassical architecture, and the home of the Legislative Assembly of PEI, Province House holds many stories. New exhibits currently in development will explore these stories by featuring broader narratives, and voices not previously presented. While the site is closed, visitors are invited to explore “The Story of Confederation” exhibit at the Confederation Centre of the Arts to see a replica of the historic Confederation Chamber and other engaging exhibits.
