Keir Memorial Land and Sea Museum

2214 Route 20, Malpeque, PE  

The Museum is housed in the former Keir Memorial Presbyterian Church, built in 1927. The collection of artifacts show the history of Commerce, shipbuilding, fishing, agriculture and the cultural life of Malpeque and surrounding areas since 1770. The Gift Shop has 40+ Island Artisans providing unique Island Gifts. The interactive lecture series, “The Talks”, are held at the Princetown United Church (corner of Route 20) Jul 15-Aug 18, on consecutive Weds at 10am. Oyster Day: Aug 08th 11:30am-3pm (rain date Aug 9)is a fun filled afternoon with live entertainment, Ruby Cousins award presentation, door prizes, 50/50 draws, and Oysters, hot dogs, Mussels, ice cream and strawberries available for purchase.
