Keir Memorial Land and Sea Museum

2214 Route 20, Malpeque, PE  

The museum is housed in the Keir Memorial Presbyterian Church, built in 1927. The collection of artifacts shows the history of commerce, shipbuilding, fishing, agriculture and the cultural life of the residents in the Malpeque area since 1770. The interactive lecture series known as “The Talks” are held at the Malpeque United Church, July 5th-August 9th on consecutive Weds from 10:30-11:30am. “Tuesdays at the Museum” runs July 11th-August 15th from 10:30-12pm with local artisans sharing their skills. Oyster Day – August 5th, 12-3pm, rain date August 6. Malpeque Oysters, Mussels, BBQ hot dogs, live entertainment, strawberries and ice cream, local vendors.
