Julea Boswell Art

Reflecting her Island roots, Julea Boswell’s fresh and contemporary acrylic paintings are awash with lyrical expressions of nature’s beauty. As a dancer-turned-visual-artist, she sees the world around her as a dance that she puts into paint. Fuelled by joyful memories that reveal recurring themes of movement and sense of place, she creates colourful, stylized Island-themed paintings as well as purely abstract compositions. She also collaborates with dancers and musicians, including PEI’s Atlantic String Machine and Propeller Dance in Ottawa. Her art is available at The Dunes Gallery in Brackley and at her studio in picturesque Frenchfort, PEI.
