Destruction Re-Crafted: Hurricane Fiona Up Close and Personal – Charlottetown

145 Richmond Street, Charlottetown, PE

Post-tropical storm Fiona hit PEI in the early morning hours of Saturday, September 24th, 2022, with heavy rain and winds over 170 km/h. Craft artists from across PEI were invited to share their work through the incorporation of hurricane debris or the interpretation of the hurricane destruction. The PEI Crafts Council welcomes you to share in this exploration of loss and change through the exhibition acknowledging the effects of Fiona on our lives. The Fiona Exhibit is also on display at the Lefurgey Cultural Centre from June 1-30. (Featured work by Noella Moore.)
